Section I. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT OF MATERIEL
19.
Purpose
a. When
a
new
or
reconditioned
semitrailer
is
first
received
by the using organization), it is necessary for the organizational

erly

for
service
by
the
supplying

and

in

to

mission to which it may be

20. Preliminary Services
a. General Procedures.

Uncrate
semitrailer,

hydrant bags. If any exterior surfaces are coated with
rust-preventive compound, remove it with mineral spirits

thinner.

for
storage
and
shipment

and follow all precautions checked thereon.
