ORGANIZATIONAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

ORGANIZATIONAL  MAINTENANCE
34.
General
Tools and equipment and spare parts are issued to the using
organization for maintaining the material. Tools and equipment
should not be used for purposes other than prescribed and,
when not in use, should be properly stored in the chest and/or
roll provided for them.

Spare parts are supplied to the using organization for replace-
ment of those parts most likely to become worn, broken, or
otherwise

36. Common Tools and Equipment
Standard

Common tools and equipment for 2d echelon are listed in ORD
6 SNL J-7, Sections 1, 2, and 3; and ORD 6 SNL J-10, Sec-
tion 4; and are authorized for issue by tables of allowances
and tables of organizational equipment.
37. Special Tools and Equipment
Certain tools and equipment specially designed for organiza-
tional  maintenance,  repair,  and  general  use  with  the  materiel
