4. DIRECTIONAL SIGNALS INOPERATIVE

NOTE

M129A4 Registration Number NX0RKB and Subsequent semitrailer are equipped

with LED lighting systems. Lamps can not be replaced.

Step 1. Check for defective switch or flasher in towing vehicle.

Replace defective switch or flasher.

If switch and flasher are not defective, proceed to step 2.

Step 2. Checkfordefectivelightassembly.

Replace defective light assembly. (para. 4-40)

5. ALL 110-VOLT LAMPS FAIL TO LIGHT (M129A4 ONLY)

Step 1. Check to see if current is available from power source.

Check power source for failure.

Step 2. Check 110-volt circuit breaker box for tripped fuses.

Reset tripped circuit breaker.

6. ONE OR MORE 110-VOLT LAMPS (BUT NOT ALL) FAIL TO LIGHT (M129A4 ONLY)

Step 1. Check for defective lamp.

Replace defective lamp (para. 4-40).

WARNING

Make sure power is disconnected to prevent injury to personnel.

Step 2. Disconnect power source and check for dirty or corroded lamp socket or contacts.

Remove lamp and clean contacts.

Step 3. Check for broken wire or loose connections.

Tighten, repair or replace wire.

Step 4. Check for defective light assembly.

Replace defective light assembly (para. 4-40).
