DAMAGE FROM IMPROPER SETTINGS.
All operators should become thoroughly familiar with the operator's controls and indicators, and with the proper operating
procedures for the Petroleum Laboratory. Certain precautions must be observed in the operation of the equipment and
its components. Procedures are presented in sequence and must be followed in sequence.
2-2.OPERATOR CONTROLS AND INDICATORS.
Table 2-1 contains the controls and indicators for the Petroleum Laboratory exterior. Tables 2-2 through 2-7 are for the
other functional systems within the Petroleum Laboratory. Operator's controls and indicators for the Semi-Trailer unique
equipment are listed in Tables 2-8 through 2-10. The ECU controls are listed in Table 2-11. Operator's controls and
indicators for the refrigerator, convection ovens, gas alarm control unit, RVP bath, ice maker, gum bath system, copper
strip corrosion bath, analytical balance, etc., are described in their respective TMs (see Appendix A for TM number).
