37. Install left rear bracket assembly (12) on vehicle frame member with two hexagon head capscrews (8),
lockwashers (7), flat washers (19), flat washers (6), and self-locking nuts (5). Torque self-locking nuts to
55-65 lb-ft (75- 81 Nm).
WARNING
Use caution when lifting the supplemental armor. A swinging or shifting
load may cause injury to personnel.
38. Using dawg grips (Table 7-2), a suitable lifting sling, and lifting device, to raise and position rear shield
plate (20) on vehicle. Position the two alignment holes of frame plate (14) over threaded holes of rear
shield plate (20) and install with two hexagon head capscrews (8), lockwashers (7), and flat washers (6),
as shown. Clamp rear shield plate (20) on vehicle and left rear bracket assembly (12).
