4-1. General

This chapter describes the Unit maintenance tasks to be performed on the XM1063 and M129A4

semitrailers.

4-2. Common Tools and Equipment

Common tools and equipment are issued to Unit maintenance personnel for maintaining the M129A4. Common tools

and equipment should not be used for purposes other than those prescribed and should be properly stored when not

in use. Refer to the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) for authorized common tools and

equipmentapplicabletoyourunit.

4-3. Special Tools, TMDE and Support Equipment

Special tools and TMDE authorized for the XM1063 or M129A4 semitrailer are listed in Appendix B. Support

equipment needed to operate the semitrailer is limited to the towing vehicle.
