2-7. General

a. This section contains instruction for safely operating the semitrailer under usual conditions. Unusual

conditions are defined and described in section IV of this chapter.

b. Before operating a reconditioned semitrailer, make sure unit maintenance services the vehicle.

c. Perform all BEFORE PMCS listed in Table 2-1 before operating the semitrailer.

d. To prepare for coupling and uncoupling operations, review all towing instructions in the operator's manual

for the towing vehicle.
