WARNING
Do not raise landing leg assembly unless the trailer is coupled to a
towing vehicle. The trailer may fall, causing injury to personnel.
Landing leg without the gear box weighs 110 lbs. (50 kgs) and landing
leg with the gear box weighs 124 lbs. (56 kgs). Failure to follow the
maintenance procedures could result in damage to equipment and/or
injury to personnel.
NOTE
Right and left side landing legs are removed the same way.
LANDING LEG REMOVAL
1. Position suitable support under front of semitrailer.
2. Raise landing legs enough to relieve load from landing gear.
3. Remove two locknuts (5), washers (3), screws (2), and shaft (4) from landing legs (1). Discard locknuts.
