DISCONNECTING NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
WARNING
When performing maintenance on any of the M967A2
systems, the negative battery terminal should always be
disconnected to prevent against possible electrical
shocks or damage to equipment.
1.
Remove battery cover.
2.
Remove wingnut (3) from negative battery terminal (2).
3.
Remove cables (1) from terminal (2).
CAUTION
Secure cables (1) so that they do not contact battery
terminal during maintenance operations.

RECONNECTING NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
1.
Install cables (1) on negative battery terminal (2).
2.
Secure cables (1) with wingnut (3).
3.
Install battery cover.
