Tool kit, general mechanic's (Item 4, Appendix B-3)

Landing legs down

Semitrailer disconnected from prime mover

Tires chocked

Ground boards emplaced

WARNING

Chock tires to prevent trailer movement.

NOTE

There are two dock bumpers and four suspension stops and they

are removed and installed the same way. The following procedure

covers either one dock bumper or one suspension stop.

General Procedure:

a. Removal.

Remove four locknuts (1 or 5), four bolts (4 or 8), four washers (3 or 7), and bumper (2 or 6). Discard

locknuts.

b. Installation.

Install bumper (2 or 6), four washers (3 or 7), four bolts (4 or 8), and four new locknuts (1 or 5).
