5-23. REMOVE/INSTALL PYROMETER INDICATOR/CONTROL.

WARNING
ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Before performing any maintenance actions on electrical equipment, ensure all electrical power has been
turned off. Death or serious injury may occur from failure to do this.
REMOVAL
Remove Pyrometer Indicator/Control. See Figure 5-23.
a. At MAIN POWER PANEL, set circuit breaker A1CB18 to OFF.
b. Open latch and pull out pyrometer from panel mounting. Disconnect electrical plug and remove pyrometer.
c. Remove housing assembly by removing four bolts, flat washers and lockwashers.
Remove housing assembly with brackets attached.
d. Remove eight screws and flat washers securing two brackets to housing assembly.
e. Tag for reconnection and disconnect electrical leads and conduit from housing assembly.
INSTALLATION
Install Pyrometer Indicator/Control. See Figure 5-23.
a. Connect conduit and electrical leads to housing assembly. Remove tags.
b. Install two brackets on housing assembly with eight screws and flat washers.
c. Position housing assembly, with brackets attached, in cabinet. Secure brackets with four flat washers,
lockwashers, and bolts.
d. Connect electrical plug and slide pyrometer into panel mounting. Close latch.
a. At MAIN POWER PANEL, set circuit breaker A1CB18 to ON.
e. Prepare and operate water system using internal water tank as source in accordance with procedures listed in
paragraph 2-8.
f.
Check for proper operation.
