INITIAL INSTALLATION (continued)
9. Position rear plate (16) on vehicle frame and support plate (13). Align holes of rear plate (16)
with existing holes of vehicle frame and install with four flat washers (3), two capscrews (9), and
two self-locking nuts (2). Do not fully tighten hardware.
10. Install rear plate (16) on support plate (13) with ten flat washers (3), five capscrews (9), and five
self-locking nuts (2). Do not fully tighten hardware.
11. Tighten all rear plate (16) and support plate (13) hardware. Do not tighten gap adjustment cover
and angle bracket hardware. Torque self-locking nuts to 55-65 lb-ft (75-88 Nm).
12. Install two capscrews (19) and two jam nuts (18) on front panel B (17). Do not
fully tighten hardware.
