DOOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
1.
Attach lifting device to door assembly (8).
2.
Using lifting device, align holes in door assembly (8) with holes in cab.
3.
Install eight washers (11), new lockwashers (10), and bolts (9) on rear of door assembly (8). Hand tighten bolts.
4.
Check alignment between door assembly (8) and remaining bolt holes. Adjust door assembly as necessary until align-
ment is correct.
5.
Install eight washers (14), new lockwashers (13), and bolts (12) on front of door assembly (8).
6.
Install eight washers (7), new lockwashers (6), and bolts (5) on top and bottom of door assembly (8).
7.
Tighten eight bolts (9) on rear of door assembly (8).
8.
Install grab handle (1), two washers (4), new lockwashers (3), and bolts (2) on inside of cab.
9.
Verify correct operation of door assembly (WP 0004 00).
10.
If removed, install outside mirror on door assembly (8). For the M915A1P1, refer to TM 9-2320-283-20. For the
M915P1, M916P1, M917P1, and M920P1, refer to TM 9-2320-273-20.
