miliar with the pertinent provisions of FM 5-25. Training and careful
planning are essential.
d. Destroy  the  tires  by  placing  an  incendiary  grenade  under
each  tire.  Fire  the  grenades.  The  detonation  of  the  explosive
charges
should
be
delayed
until
the
incendiary
fires
are
well
started.

will
prevent
the
fires
from
being
extinguished
by
the
blast
when
the
charges
are
detonated.
