NOTE

Do steps 5 and 6 if bearing sets (17 and 19) and/or seal (18) are damaged and must be replaced.

7. Remove outer bearing set. (17).

8. Remove oil seal (18) and inner bearing (19).

9. Remove gravel guard (20). Discard gravel guard.

b. Cleaning and Inspection

1. Remove surface dirt with water and brush (item 15, Appendix E).
