RECIRCULATION VALVE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT --Continued
0141 00
GASKET REPLACEMENT
1.
Remove eight self-locking nuts (5). Discard nuts.
2.
Remove adapter plate (6) and Gasket (7). Discard gasket
3.
Install new gasket (7) over eight studs.
4.
Replace adapter plate (6) and secure with eight self-locking nuts (5).
ADAPTER REPLACEMENT
1.
Remove six screws (2).
2.
Remove adapter (3) and O-ring (4) by pulling adapter from the adapter plate (6).
3.
Install O-ring (4) in groove on adapter.
4.
Install adapter (3) into hole in adapter plate and secure with six screws (2).
DUST CAP REPLACEMENT
1.
Remove the dust cap (1) from the adapter (3).
2.
Release the spring clip at the adapter (3) and remove cable and dust cap (1).
3.
Attach spring clip to the adapter (3) and install dust cap (1) on adapter.
FOLLOW-ON TASKS
1.
Install fire extinguisher.
2.
Disconnect semitrailer grounding cables (WP 0007 00).
