B-4. EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS (CONT).

c. Column (3) - Description and Usable On Code. Indicates the Federal

item name and, if required, a minimum description to identify and locate the

item. The last line for each item indicates the Commercial and Government

Entity (CAGE) (in parentheses) followed by the part number. If item needed

differs for different models of this equipment, the model is shown under the

"Usable On Code" heading in this column. If no code is entered in this column,

item is used on all models. These codes are identified as:

d. Column (4) - Unit of Issue (U/I). Indicates the quantity issued when

ordering the component. This measure is expressed by a two-character

alphabetical abbreviation (e.g., ea, in., pr).

e. Column (5) - Quantity Required (Qty Rqr). Indicates the quantity of the

item authorized to be used with/on the equipment.
