Install INITIAL SET-UP Tools Required General Mechanics Tool Kit, (Appendix B, Section III, Item 1) Portable Electric Drill, (Appendix B, Section III, Item 2) Twist Drill Set, (Appendix B, Section III, Item 2) Hand Blind Riveter, (Appendix B, Section III, Item 3) Materials/Parts Required Lockwashers, (2) Rivets, (12) REMOVE 1. Remove Penetrometer and Brackets.  See Figure 4-65. a. Open cabinets S and T to gain access to hardware. b. Loosen strap (1) and securing penetrometer (2) and remove penetrometer. c. Remove two screws (3), washers (4), lockwashers (5), nuts (6), and bracket (7) with strap (1).  Discard lockwashers. d. Remove six rivets (8) and bracket (9). 2. Remove Penetrometer Controller and Brackets. a. Open cabinet T to gain access to hardware. b. Loosen strap (10) and securing penetrometer controller (11) and remove penetrometer controller. c. Remove four rivets (12) and two brackets (13). d. Remove two rivets (14) and angle bracket (15). INSTALL 1. Install Penetrometer and Brackets.  See Figure 4-65. a. Install bracket (9) and secure with six rivets (8). b. Install bracket (7) with strap (1) and secure with two screws (3), washers (4), lockwashers (5), and nuts (6). c. Install penetrometer (2) and tighten strap (1). 2. Install Penetrometer Controller and Brackets. a. Install angle bracket (15) and secure with two rivets (14). b. Install two brackets (13) and secure each bracket with two rivets (12). c. Install penetrometer controller (11) and tighten strap (10).
