TM 10-6640-238-13 2-38 Table 2-14.  Operator Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) - CONT NOTE If  equipment  must  be  kept  in  continuous  operation,  only  do  procedures  that  can  be performed without disturbing operation.  Make the complete checks and services when equipment can be shut down. Loose or missing mounting bolts. b. Inspect for leaks. Class III leaks detected. Water Chiller c. Inspect for proper operation.   Water is not chilled. 20 Water Pressure Switch Check for proper starting and stopping of water pump. Pump does not operate automatically at the set pressure settings. 21 Water Heater a. Inspect for proper operation.   Water is not hot.         b. Inspect for leaks. Class III leaks detected. 22 a. Inspect mounting. Loose or missing mounting bolts. b. Inspect for leaks. Class III leaks detected.     Still c. Inspect for improper operation caused by scale or crud buildup. Still is inoperative. 23 Analytical Balance and Damping Support Inspect for damage. Missing screws.  Cracked or broken glass. 24 Low Pressure Steam Boiler Inspect for damage and leakage. Missing fasteners. Class III leaks detected. 25 a.    Inspect hoses and clamps. Missing clamps or hose damaged. Fume Hood and Gum Bath Exhaust Blowers b.   Inspect for proper operation. Inoperative exhaust blower (s). 26 a.    Inspect for damage. Loose or missing bolts or clamps. RVP Bath, Gauges, and Bombs, and Manometer b.   Inspect for proper operation. Inoperative RVP bath, gauges, or manometer.  Broken glass.
