NOTE
After lowering disabled vehicle, extend lift and tow cylinders approximately 2 to 4 inches
(51 to 102 mm) to allow for adjustment when removing adapters.
4.
Pull LIFT CYLINDER control lever (3) to extend lift cylinder and lower disabled vehicle to the ground to
release tension on MUAs (4) on tow eyes (5).
WARNING
If disabled vehicle's parking brake is inoperative, chock wheels of disabled vehicle.
Failure to chock wheels may results in personal injury.
5.
Apply PARKING BRAKE on disabled vehicle (refer to M35 operator's manual). If parking brake is inoperable
chock wheels on disabled vehicle.

6.
Remove tow light cable (6) from wrecker.
7.
Remove tow light cable (6) from emergency tow lights (7) and stow.
8.
Remove emergency tow lights (7) from disabled vehicle.
