26. Remove two 16 ft. (4.9 m) safety chains (24) from stowage.

27. Route one end of 16 ft. (4.9 m) safety chain (24) over left lower control arm (25) of disabled vehicle.

28. Hook safety chain (24) together in front of lower control arm (25).

29. Repeat steps (27) and (28) for other side of disabled vehicle.
