1-1 SCOPE
This manual is an Operators Technical Manual which provides operation and maintenance information for the Caster
Mounted Electric Portable Belt Conveyor made by Highland Engineering, Inc., Howell, Michigan, USA. "0AK83" (first
character is numeric zero) appears on the identification plate and is a code which represents Highland Engineering, Inc.
as the manufacturer. The Caster Mounted Electric Portable Belt Conveyor is intended for use in environments with a
temperature range of 0 deg. F to 120 deg. F and is adjustable and mobile to allow efficient positioning and use.
1-2 MAINTENANCE FORMS, RECORDS, and REPORTS
Department of the Army forms and procedures used for equipment maintenance will be those prescribed by DA Pam 738-
750, The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS).
1-3 DESTRUCTION OF ARMY MATERIEL TO PREVENT ENEMY USE
Please refer to TM 750-244-6, Procedures for Destruction of Tank Automotive Equipment to Prevent Enemy Use (US
Army Tank-Automotive Command).
1-4 REPORTING EQUIPMENT IMPROVEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS (EIR)

are the only one who can tell us what you don’t like about your equipment. Let us know why you don’t like the design or
