Do not lift vehicle off ground when performing step (30).

30. Operate retrieval control levers (28) (TM 9-2320-279-10-2) until tow cylinders (2) are fully retracted.

31. Push in LIFT CYLINDER control lever (6) to retract lift cylinder until slack is removed from safety chains (25).
